When unprocessed, the butter is ivory in color, but more refined versions can be white, although they are often dyed yellow with borututu root or palm oil. Shea butter is widely used in cosmetics as a moisturizer, salve, or lotion.

The color of our shea butter can range from an ivory white to a grayish yellow, which is entirely normal as it is an all-natural product.
